The questions people ask before they hire anyone.
Answered the way we would answer them on a call. Where a number belongs in your agreement rather than on a web page, we say so instead of inventing an average.
Commercial
Managed services are a flat monthly fee based on how many users and devices we support, so the invoice does not spike in a bad month. Projects, hardware and software are quoted separately and approved before work starts. You will not get an invoice you have not already seen a number for.
Working together
Most of the time, nothing. They keep the institutional knowledge and the relationships, and hand us monitoring, patching, after-hours cover and the projects that need a specialist. Where there is no internal IT, we are the whole department.
Support
Response targets are written into your agreement and vary by severity — a site down is not the same ticket as a mouse that needs replacing. Critical issues escalate to an on-call engineer outside support hours. We would rather commit to targets in writing than quote an average that means nothing on your bad day.
Security & compliance
We do the preparation work: risk assessments, policy documentation, staff security training, technical controls and audit-readiness reviews. The certifying audit itself is carried out by an independent auditor — no consultancy can certify its own work, and anyone who says otherwise should worry you.
Getting started
A review of your current environment — network, endpoints, backup, security posture and the licensing you are paying for — and a written summary of what we found, ranked by risk. No obligation and no charge, and you keep the document.
Still have a question we did not answer?
Ask it in the form and you get a straight answer from an engineer, not a sales sequence.
